ANAHEIM HILLS, CALIFORNIA – An elderly woman forgot to hit the brakes as she was coming into a parking spot at the post office. She was dropping off her mail when her vehicle hopped the curb and punched through the exterior wall crashing into the post office on Santa Ana Canyon Rd The woman was fine and did not suffer any injuries nor was there anyone inside the post office which is usually busy around that time of day. The building inspector was called out to inspect the damage and is expected to close the post office until the hole can be fixed. Postal employees had to meet patrons outside to receive outgoing mail and folks with P.O. Boxes were not permitted to enter during this temporary closure. The Anaheim police are investigating.
