Story Details: Time – 2:00pm Location – 3230 179th St, Torrance Handling Agencies – Torrance FD
A residential fire broke out in a garage of a residence on 179th St. Firefighters arrived to find the owners and neighbors in the garage trying to put out the fire. Torrance FD evacuated the people from the garage and were able to take control of the fire. It is not known at this time how the fire started actually started. Torrance FD is looking at a hover board or several extension cords connected together as possibilities.
