OXNARD – A vehicle traveling southbound 101 crashed into the guard rail and fence before coming to rest dangling over the edge of a drainage ditch. The driver of the vehicle had tried to exit the car but fell roughly 15 feet into the ditch below the vehicle. Ventura County Fire secured the vehicle and performed a flying stoked in order to get the patient out of the ditch and transported to a local hospital.
