WEST LA: Pursuit

*Time* – Around 0200 *Location* – Orginated NB405 in West LA CHP District, Termination Las Virgines Road Calabasas *Handling Agencies* – CHP West LA, CHP West Valley
Around 0200, CHP West LA units started pursuing a blue sedan for speeding and traffic violations. The suspect led officers on a high speed pursuit along the 101 freeway reaching speeds of 115 mph. The suspect was spike stripped on the 101 EB at Desoto. The suspect went along Ventura Blvd to Westlake and got back on the NB101 with 3 flat tires. The suspect exited the freeway at Lost Hills and led officers around the Calabasas neighborhood. The suspect was taken into custody after a brief foot chase at the termination location. A female passenger was arrested as well at 0300. CHP West Valley & West LA are handling the incident.
