Whittier: Stolen Vehicle Pursuit Ends in Gardena

CHP was in pursuit of a stolen vehicle from the area of Whittier near the 605 at Slauson Ave. The male driver and his female passenger fled from units up and down the 605 freeway and at one point going into Orange County on Whittier Blvd. before heading back into Los Angeles on the 91 freeway westbound. The vehicle ran out of gas and exited Main St. in Gardena, where the male and female gave up without further incident.
