Wrong Way Pursuing Deputy Crashes with SUV / Industry 6.21.20

INDUSTRY – Sometime after 2 PM deputies were in pursuit of a vehicle at high-speeds. The suspects vehicle at one point got onto the northbound 605 Fwy at Peck Ave reaching speeds about 75 to 90 mph. The suspect continued northbound on the 605 exiting at Valley Blvd. The suspect continued  North Workman Mill Rd on the wrong side of the street. Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputies continued with the pursuit with only one unit following the suspect with the suspect driving on the wrong way of traffic. The deputy that was following the suspect crashed into a SUV causing the vehicle to overturn, trapping three people inside the. The deputy pulled over and the suspect continued going the wrong way where he crashed about a mile north of the LASD vs SUV crash. The suspect crashed into another vehicle just north of the first accident. Deputies caught up to the suspect and the suspect refused to come out of the vehicle and less lethal force was used to get the suspect out of the vehicle and into custody. The victims at the first accident that overturned were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries once freed. The victims from the second accident were also transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. The suspect was not transported, he was checked out at the scene and was taken into custody.
