PANORAMA CITY: Pursuit Crash

Around 0045, LAPD initiated a pursuit of a reckless driver in a silver sedan near Sepulveda & Plummer. About two minutes later, the 16 year old driver lost control attempting to turn onto Van Nuys Blvd, and crashed into a power pole, knocking down wires. The suspect also crashed through a wall and into the front of a truck for sale in a used car lot at the intersection of Van Nuys Blvd. & Plummer.  The 16 year old female suspect was arrested. She was evaluated by LAFD paramedics and transported to the hospital with minor injuries, and later released to her parents. LAPD Mission Division and LAPD Valley Traffic Division are handling the incident.
