9.16.20 | by Adam Balhetchet | LOWER EAST SIDE, Manhattan – Two ATM thieves in a van stole an ATM 4:23 am Wednesday at Clinton & Rivington. A vehicle pursuit ensued down and up the FDR drive ending at 52 & 1 Ave where the van was stopped and two perps were arrested. The perps struck a female officer’s unmarked dodge charger, she got off the highway pursuit, and called for an ambulance at 42 and 2nd. This comes after two previous successful ATM robberies. The first one was ripped and stolen from a Bodega. It happened on August 14th, 5 am Friday at 181 Ave C. The second ATM was stolen September 1st, 4:17 am Tuesday at “No Fun” restaurant located at 151 Ludlow St.
