BROOKLYN: Garbage Truck Runs Over Two Ladies

SUNSET PARK, Brooklyn – Two elderly ladies were critically struck by a garbage truck making a right turn from 44 st to 3rd Ave around 12:30 pm Thursday. Both the driver and pedestrians had a green light. The driver remained on scene and was not arrested. The two victims were critically transported to Lutheran hospital. NYPD collision investigation squad were on scene to conduct the investigation.
