RED HOOK, Brooklyn – A man was fatally shot in the back at 767 Hicks Street in the confines of the 76 Precinct at 10:40 pm Friday. A 17-year-old teenager shot and killed his 30-year-old stepfather for assaulting his mother. Two men were taken into custody. The victim was in traumatic cardiac arrest from the gunshot wound and was transported to Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
