EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn – An NYPD shotspotter was triggered at 12265 Flatlands Ave around 4 am Sunday morning. Upon arrival of 75 precinct units, they discovered a retired officer who was shot at and attempted to be robbed. ESU, K9, and Aviation canvassed the area for the suspect with negative results. A walk-in gunshot victim was admitted to Woodhull hospital. Unknown if connected to this incident.
