Fatal Car Crash, Unlicensed Driver Arrested | Queens

4.19.20 | by Adam Balhetchet | QUEENS (DCPI) – On April 18, 2020, at approximately 0250 hours police responded to a 911 call of a vehicle collision at 109th Street and 107th Avenue in the confines of the 106 Precinct. A preliminary investigation determined that vehicle #1 a 2020 Nissan Altima was traveling southbound on 109 Street and struck vehicle #2 a 2003 Nissan Maxima who was traveling eastbound on 107 Street. The driver of vehicle #2 a 21-year-old male was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The driver of vehicle #1 was taken into custody at the scene. The investigation is ongoing by CIS.
