7.12.19 | by Adam Balhetchet | LOWER MANHATTAN – A body was recovered from the East River. It happened around 1:17 am Friday, at Market Slip & South St, within the confines of the 5th Precinct. NYPD harbor units recovered the body transferred it to land. The Medical Examiner team bagged and removed the body from the scene.
