MANHATTAN: Man Fatally Struck by Grand Central Shuttle Train

5/3/19 | by Adam Balhetchet | GRAND CENTRAL STATION, Manhattan – A person was struck by the shuttle train around 11:20 pm Friday night. He was extricated by firefighters and transported with traumatic cardiac arrest, CPR performed en route to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased (as per first responder)
DCPI: “According to the complaint report on file: On Friday, May 3, 2019, at approximately 2320 hours officers responded to a 911 call of a person struck by a train. Upon preliminary investigation, it was determined that an unidentified male in his 50’s was walking on the tracks inside of the tunnel and was struck by the train. ”
