MANHATTAN: Times Square Climber Rescued

TIMES SQUARE, Manhattan – A young male climbed on top of the roof of a scaffolding and was unable to descend. This happened at 12:30 am Sunday in the confines of the Midtown North Precinct. NYPD & PAPD ESU was requested to rescue and apprehend the climber. After about 30 minutes ESU successfully rescued the climber, arrested him, and transported him in an ambulance to an area psychiatric emergency department.
