6.24.20 | by Adam Balhetchet | ROSEDALE, Queens – A pedestrian was struck by a car. It happened at 4 am Wednesday at 246-63 Rockaway Blvd north of Brookville Blvd. CPR was performed on the pedestrian who suffered traumatic cardiac arrest. The victim was rushed to Jamaica hospital in critical condition. The driver who struck the pedestrian stayed on the scene and was not injured. Highway units were on scene investigating. Rockaway Blvd was shut down in both directions between Brookville Blvd and Eastern Road.
