7.27.20 | by Adam Balhetchet | CYPRESS HILLS, Brooklyn – A man was shot while at a memorial regarding a teen that was killed in the previous day. It happened around 10:30 pm Monday at 67 Vermont St. That is where a man was shot in the shoulder. Police transmitted multiple 10-13’s for backup as they were in the vicinity of the shooting at the time. Police rushed an ambulance to the location. EMS treated the male for a gunshot wound to the shoulder and transported to an area hospital in stable condition. Numerous shell casings were found on the sidewalk just steps away from the memorial on the same side of the street as the basketball court. Police may be looking for two suspects in regards to this shooting.
