5.7.20 | by Christopher Cyphers | HAMPTON BAYS, LI – Just before 6 PM, Hampton Bays (LI) FD responded to a 911 call to the Foster Avenue Playground, fully involved in the fire, located on Foster Avenue in the Village of Hampton Bays, Town of Southampton. HBFD quickly extinguished the fire. The playground facilities had been closed as part of the Town of Southampton’s COVID-19 social distancing requirements. The fire is being treated as suspicious and remains under investigation.
