QUEENS: Car Crashes Store, Woman Ejected from Vehicle

9.10.19 | by Adam Balhetchet | SOUTH RICHMOND HILL, Queens – A two-vehicle collision left one occupant dead after crashing into a store. It happened around 1:20 am Tuesday at 125-19 111 Ave within the confines of the 106th Precinct. The SUV apparently ran a red light which caused the collision between the two vehicles, sending the Honda CRV into the building. Police are looking for one driver who fled the scene. Witnesses stated the driver of the vehicle that crashed the building was transported to the hospital. The passenger was ejected and was seen pronounced dead by EMS on the sidewalk outside of the passenger side door. Highway conducted a collision investigation, which is ongoing.
