4.13.19 | Video by Adam Balhetchet | ELMHURST, Queens (DCPI) – On Saturday, April 13, 2019, at approximately 0150 hours, police responded to a 911 call of shots fired at the corner of National Street and Roosevelt Avenue, within the confines of the 110 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS transported the victim to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he was pronounced deceased. The incident remains under investigation. The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
