QUEENS: Thousands Affected by Woodside Blackout

It started around 6 pm on Tuesday, at 60-10 Queens Boulevard, within the confines of the 108th Precinct. MTA provided a warming bus to keep residents warm. Police were patrolling with emergency lights. Power to some buildings came back on around 2 am Wednesday. ABC7 reported, “Firefighters cut people out of three elevators.”
