Two Cars under Garbage Truck

SAINT ALBANS, Queens – A DSNY sanitation truck hit the lower portion of the overpass and two cars ended up underneath of it. This happened 8:30 pm Saturday, on the Belt Parkway & Francis Lewis Blvd, within the confines of the 105th Precinct. Two vehicles under up underneath of the truck with the compression body of the truck being dislodged. All occupants were trapped in the vehicles and had to be extricated by FDNY and ESU. Victims were treated by EMS and transported in stable condition to an area hospital.
