BEDSTUY, Brooklyn – A 33-year old woman was shot in her right foot Monday evening at Atlantic Avenue and Hunterfly Place. Police said the incident happened at 9:35 p.m. It is unclear if the woman was the intended target. The unnamed woman was transported to Interfaith Hospital, where she remains in stable condition. Several officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the 20-year-old suspect who was described as a black male wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans and possibly a red bandanna. A witness, who claimed to have known the lady, said the shots were so loud, he heard them from the inside of his home. “She didn’t deserve that sh*t. She ain’t got sh*t to do with none of that,” he said.
